Datapipe's "Elastic Private Network" (EPN) provides the capability to carve out a private, isolated portion of your Stratosphere cloud for your particular needs and requirements.  Within Stratosphere, you can build and launch your compute resources on a private, virtual network that you define to your own specifications. This virtual network can more closely resemble traditional networks similar to what you may now have in your own data center. You have complete control over this environment, including selection of your own IP address ranges, and configuration of routing and port forwarding rules.

Customizing your network configuration is flexible and simple. With a few mouse clicks, you can create public-facing subnet for your web servers that has access to the Internet, and position your application or database systems on private subnets that cannot be addressed from the Internet. This adds additional layers of security to protect and control access to your Stratosphere resources.

To afford ease of access for management and support of your resources, Stratosphere allows you to create a virtual private network (VPN), connecting your corporate data center to your private Stratosphere environment, making those resources appear as an extension of your corporate data center.
