Standard Templates

Different applications and services require different operating systems.  Datapipe's Stratosphere has provided a wide variety of offerings to handle any business specification and requirement. To simplify the creation of virtual machines, a variety of "templates" preconfigured with specific operating systems are available for selection.  These are used to deploy your choice of OS upon the service offerings you chose during the creation of your virtual machines.

Stratosphere currently supports the following templated operating systems:

Selecting template

On the left hand side of your dashboard, you will see a "Templates" button.  Clicking on that button will expand your choices.

  • Datapipe Templates are base operating systems that have been tested and prepared by Datapipe for deployment.
  • Datapipe Appliances are pre-configured systems that include a specific application.
  • Private Templates are those you have created and maintain.

Selecting category of template will display all of the available templates in that zone.  To launch a template, click on the green "Deploy" button on the far right.
